7 Wonders of Jewish History
Jewish history is unlike any other. There are remarkable anomilies — things that just don’t seem to happen in the normal course of human events. This unit explores seven aspects of Jewish History and how unlikely they were to occur. What makes it all the more strange, is that they were all predicted thousands of years before they happened.
Torah Codes
There’s an ancient Jewish mystical tradition that suggests hidden information is encoded within the text of the Torah. One method of encoding is through equidistant letter skips (ELS). While this was hard to prove before the advent of computers, today there is credible, evidence-based, and peer-reviewed science supporting this remarkable claim.
National Revelation
Every religion that has ever existed, except one, began with a revelation to a single person. In claiming a collective revelation, it’s not a stretch to say that Judaism has the most objectively powerful origin story in the annals of world religion. How can it be explained?

Imagine discovering that an ancient document held information that wouldn’t be known for thousands of years. The Torah contains exactly this kind of information. Why would an ancient author make assertions about things they couldn’t possibly have known and that could easily have been disproven over time?
